In the mouth
Ample and harmonious on the palate, with fine-grained tannins characteristic of the appellation. Ripe red fruit flavours meld with spice and restrained oak. Long, elegant finish with delicate minerality and impressive ageing potential.
On the nose
Complex bouquet of ripe dark cherry, raspberry and blackberry, with subtle spice notes—pepper and cinnamon—from oak élevage. A whisper of violet and mineral terroir adds depth and refinement.

Deep, intense ruby with purple hues. Rich colour suggesting a wine of substance and character.
Breeding
Ageing in oak barrels (including a proportion of new oak) for 12 to 18 months. This allows the wine to gain structure whilst respecting its fruit character.
