Breeding
The wine is aged 6 to 8 months in old oak foudres.
On the eye
Purple-tinged garnet. Bright and translucent.
On the nose
Initial floral notes of violet give way to deeper aromas of ripe red and black berries, with subtle mineral undertones characteristic of the granite soils.
In the mouth
Fine yet substantial. The palate reveals pure, linear construction built upon powdery tannins. Balanced and harmonious, with fleshy mid-palate character and hints of chocolate on the long, fresh finish.
This Brouilly Pierreux rewards the table with particular distinction when paired with blanquette de veau, Spanish tapas, or Bresse chicken with dauphinoise potatoes. Its freshness and structure also make it an excellent choice for charcuterie and lighter meat preparations.

Domaines Chermette is a family wine estate in Saint-Vérand (Rhône), Beaujolais. Run by the Chermette family. Grape: Gamay. Appellations: Moulin-à-Vent, Fleurie, Beaujolais-Villages, Saint-Véran. Around 25 hectares farmed sustainably. Traditional whole-bunch vinification with semi-carbonic maceration. Fruity, terroir-driven wines.
