Eight generations of Burgundian winemaking from Vosne-Romanée
The vineyard parcels average twenty years of age, conferring maturity and complexity to the fruit. This established vine stock yields wines of considerable depth and textural refinement, characteristic of the finest Bourgogne Blanc expressions.
The aromatic profile displays considerable breadth, from citrus and white stone fruits through to subtle floral notes and mineral undertones. This complexity reflects both terroir expression and the careful handling of the vintage.
Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret represents eight generations of accumulated expertise in Burgundian viticulture and winemaking. This heritage informs every decision, from vineyard management through to the élevage and final assemblage.

Product features : Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret Bourgogne Chardonnay 2023 — Burgundy
In the mouth
The palate reveals a wine of considerable balance: simultaneously dry and gently rounded, with ample body and a silken texture. The mid-palate shows depth and savour, whilst maintaining elegant restraint. The finish demonstrates good persistence, with mineral notes lingering pleasantly.
On the nose
The bouquet opens with frank, inviting character. White stone fruits predominate, with underlying notes of hazelnut and a mineral salinity that speaks to the limestone-rich terroir of Vosne-Romanée.
On the eye
Golden-hued with pale greenish reflections, suggesting freshness and youthful vigour.
This Bourgogne Chardonnay proves particularly well-suited to fish preparations—whether poached, grilled, or prepared en papillote. The wine's mineral structure and textural refinement complement delicate white fish admirably. It also pairs thoughtfully with shellfish and lighter crustacean dishes, where its acidity and complexity enhance rather than overpower.
