CHATEAU LE JONCIEUX
Based in Berson, Gironde, Château le Joncieux farms 15 hectares of clay-limestone soils under the Bordeaux appellation, producing reds from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The Jullion name has been recorded in Berson since 1695, and the château took its current name in 1929 when Norbert Jullion married Eva Meynard. Franck Jullion, Norbert's grandson, took over in 1991 and has since maintained a careful, terroir-led approach to viticulture. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the remarkable depth of its family roots, the straightforward integrity of its Bordeaux rouge, and the honest relationship between quality and price. A reliable address for those seeking a well-structured, unpretentious house Bordeaux.
