Eight generations of Cabernet Franc viticulture in the Loire Valley

  • The vineyard spans 20 hectares across three distinct terroirs: Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil and Anjou planted on alluvial sands and gravels from the Loire, whilst the Bourgueil parcel sits on south-facing clay-limestone slopes, each contributing distinct mineral character.
  • The Domaine has remained in family hands for eight generations, producing approximately 180,000 bottles annually. This continuity of stewardship reflects deep knowledge of terroir and vintage variation across the Loire's microclimates.
  • Direct supply through Les Halles de Quercamps allows us to offer this wine at domaine pricing, eliminating unnecessary intermediaries whilst maintaining the quality standards our family has upheld since our establishment.

In the mouth
Dry and well-structured, with frank attack and generous fruit character. The palate shows good roundness and richness without heaviness, demonstrating the balance that alluvial terroir imparts to Cabernet Franc rosé.
On the nose
Aromatic expression of tropical fruit—mango and pineapple—mingling with red fruit notes. The bouquet is fresh and inviting without excessive perfume, characteristic of Cabernet Franc's restrained elegance.
On the eye
Pale salmon-pink with subtle candy-coloured hues, suggesting delicate extraction and careful handling.
M. Francois
This Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil rosé proves the versatility of serious Cabernet Franc in pale form. It accompanies aperitifs with distinction, complements fresh salads, and stands alongside grilled fare with genuine food-wine harmony. Drink as an expression of Loire terroir rather than as a seasonal novelty.
