A floral, fruit-driven Sauvignon of genuine charm and energy

  • Les Créots represents the house's commitment to expressive, accessible Sancerre. Formerly known as Clémence, this cuvée retains the same meticulous viticulture and winemaking that define Vincent Pinard's philosophy: wines of clarity and terroir-driven character.
  • This is Sancerre without pretension—a wine that invites immediate enjoyment whilst possessing the structure to develop gracefully over several years. Versatile enough for the aperitif table, yet substantial enough to accompany a proper meal.
  • The 2023 vintage demonstrates admirable ageing potential for a wine of this style. Expect the mineral backbone to become more pronounced and the fruit to evolve into secondary complexities over the next five to seven years.

Product features : Domaine Vincent Pinard - Sancerre Blanc les Créots 2023

In the mouth
Crisp and mineral-driven, with bright acidity balancing ripe stone fruit and subtle citrus. The finish is clean and persistent, with a pleasant saline quality that speaks to the Kimmeridgian terroir.
On the nose
Pronounced citrus aromatics—lemon and grapefruit—interwoven with white floral notes of acacia and honeysuckle. A whisper of herbaceous minerality beneath.
On the eye
Brilliant pale gold with green reflections
M. Francois
Les Créots excels as an aperitif wine, particularly with oysters and other shellfish. It pairs naturally with grilled white fish, fresh goat's cheese, and lighter vegetable-based dishes. The wine's acidity and minerality make it an excellent companion to asparagus and artichoke preparations. A thoroughly food-friendly expression of Sancerre.

DOMAINE VINCENT PINARD

Established on the slopes of Bué in the Cher, Domaine Vincent Pinard works 17 hectares of Sancerre across calcareous caillottes and argilo-calcareous terres blanches, with south- and west-facing aspects. The Pinard family has been rooted in Bué for over twenty generations; Vincent shaped the estate in the early 1970s, and his sons Florent (2001) and Clément (2007) have since brought fresh rigour to both vineyard and cellar. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the precision of its Sauvignon Blanc whites, the finesse of its Pinot Noir reds and rosés, and the long-term consistency of its terroir-led approach. A reliable reference for those who want Sancerre in its truest geological expression.
