In the mouth
Saline minerality frames a precise, elegant palate. The wine shows excellent definition and a lingering finish that speaks to the quality of the Grand Cru vineyard
On the nose
Complex and harmonious: struck flint, white flowers, orchard fruit, and fresh herbaceous notes develop with gentle aeration, revealing the wine's layered character
On the eye
Pale lemon-yellow with bright, crystalline clarity
M. Francois
A natural partner for warm oysters, Spanish-style stuffed mussels, and grilled squid. Its mineral precision complements salt-crusted sea bass, white meat cooked en foin, and seafood preparations with saffron or curry. The wine's acidity and structure make it equally suited to aperitif service or contemplative drinking.

DOMAINE ALBERT BOXLER

Based in Niedermorschwihr in the Haut-Rhin, Domaine Albert Boxler farms 14 hectares of steep granite hillsides under the Alsace appellation, with yields deliberately held to 30–35 hl/ha. The Boxler family has been rooted in this village since 1672; Albert Boxler made the estate's first domaine-bottling in 1946, a standard his grandson Jean has upheld since taking the helm in 1996. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the precision, tension and mineral drive of its whites — Riesling above all — drawn from lean granitic soils that give the wines a clarity and backbone rarely matched in Alsace. A discreet but thoroughly reliable address for lovers of great dry whites.
