In the mouth
Generously structured yet delicately fleshed, with a refined, velvety texture and good density. The palate displays ripe fruit character balanced by mineral acidity, with a satisfying finish that lingers with elegance.
On the nose
Inviting bouquet of yellow stone fruits, delicate spice notes reminiscent of nutmeg, and dried floral aromatics. The nose develops with air, revealing subtle mineral undertones characteristic of the granite bedrock.
On the eye
Pale golden hue with bright, translucent clarity
Breeding
Aged in oak barrel (70%) and stainless steel vat (30%).
M. Francois
A natural companion to warm oysters, Spanish-style stuffed mussels, and grilled squid. Equally at home with salt-crusted sea bass, white meat cooked en foin, or monkfish tail prepared with saffron or curry. The wine's mineral backbone and acidity make it exceptionally versatile at table.

DOMAINE ALBERT BOXLER

Based in Niedermorschwihr in the Haut-Rhin, Domaine Albert Boxler farms 14 hectares of steep granite hillsides under the Alsace appellation, with yields deliberately held to 30–35 hl/ha. The Boxler family has been rooted in this village since 1672; Albert Boxler made the estate's first domaine-bottling in 1946, a standard his grandson Jean has upheld since taking the helm in 1996. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the precision, tension and mineral drive of its whites — Riesling above all — drawn from lean granitic soils that give the wines a clarity and backbone rarely matched in Alsace. A discreet but thoroughly reliable address for lovers of great dry whites.
