Product features : Albert Boxler Riesling Reserve 2023 — Alsace Riesling

In the mouth
Taut and elegant on the palate. Citrus flavours—lemon and grapefruit—are complemented by stone fruit notes, whilst a saline, mineral finish provides excellent definition and length. The wine displays admirable tension throughout.
On the nose
Intense and refined bouquet. Citrus notes—lemon and grapefruit—intermingle with white flowers and flint minerality, with a whisper of honey in the background. The aromatics are both delicate and persistent.
On the eye
Pale yellow with silvery reflections. Limpid and luminous.
Breeding
Vinified and aged in traditional large wooden vats, respecting the fruit character and varietal typicity

Albert Boxler's Riesling Reserve exemplifies the finest qualities of Alsatian viticulture. Its purity and mineral backbone make it an excellent match for shellfish, noble white fish, sushi, and spiced Asian cuisine. The interplay of freshness, tension, and depth creates a wine of considerable gastronomic versatility. Essential for serious Riesling enthusiasts seeking authentic expression of great Alsatian terroir.

DOMAINE ALBERT BOXLER

Based in Niedermorschwihr in the Haut-Rhin, Domaine Albert Boxler farms 14 hectares of steep granite hillsides under the Alsace appellation, with yields deliberately held to 30–35 hl/ha. The Boxler family has been rooted in this village since 1672; Albert Boxler made the estate's first domaine-bottling in 1946, a standard his grandson Jean has upheld since taking the helm in 1996. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the precision, tension and mineral drive of its whites — Riesling above all — drawn from lean granitic soils that give the wines a clarity and backbone rarely matched in Alsace. A discreet but thoroughly reliable address for lovers of great dry whites.
