In the mouth
Elegant and well-defined, with fine-grained tannins and admirable concentration. The palate shows good length and a mineral finish characteristic of the appellation.
On the nose
Blackcurrant and blackberry with subtle notes of liquorice and white pepper. The aromatics suggest both ripeness and restraint.
On the eye
Deep purple
A wine of considerable merit alongside grilled beef or spiced meat dishes. The structure and flavour profile make it particularly suited to herb-crusted côte de boeuf, where its black fruit and subtle spice complement the meat's richness without overwhelming it.

Domaine Alain Graillot is a wine estate in Pont-de-l'Isère (Drôme), Crozes-Hermitage appellation (Northern Rhône Valley). Founded in 1985 by Alain Graillot. Around 21 hectares of vines. Grapes: Syrah (reds), Marsanne and Roussanne (whites). Cuvée La Guiraude (old-vine selection). One of the most acclaimed Crozes-Hermitage estates.
