A family rooted in Rully since the thirteenth century
- Sourced from three distinct parcels: Le Meix Cadot, En Rosey, and Montagne de Remenot. These carefully selected vineyard sites contribute distinct mineral and fruit characteristics to the final wine.
- Aged in a nineteenth-century cellar with bottling timed to the lunar calendar. Eighteen months in oak, including a proportion of new wood, imparts structure and complexity to the Pinot Noir.
- Vines planted between 1974 and 1978 across fewer than three hectares. This modest production ensures meticulous attention to quality and terroir expression in every vintage.

Breeding
18 months in oak barrels, up to 30% new wood, to reveal an elegant structure, remarkably fine tannins and aromatic complexity that will develop with age.
On the eye
Deep ruby red with garnet and violet reflections, indicating maturity and complexity.
On the nose
Expressive bouquet revealing blackcurrant, blackberry, and black cherry, with subtle pot-pourri and gentle spice notes that evolve with aeration.
In the mouth
Silken attack followed by delicate amplitude. Fine, nearly imperceptible tannins frame crunchy red and black fruits with a whisper of pot-pourri. Linear structure extends to a promising, slightly austere finish that will round with age.
This Rully Rouge exemplifies the elegance of Côte Chalonnaise Pinot Noir. Organically farmed old vines and careful élevage yield a wine of balance and refinement. The silken attack and remarkable tannin finesse make it immediately approachable, yet the austere finish suggests rewarding development. Ideal with duck breast or mature cheeses.
