In the mouth
The palate displays redcurrant and raspberry aromatics, married with refined tannins that provide structure without dominating. The wine possesses good balance and a clean, persistent finish.
On the nose
Initially restrained in youth, the bouquet gradually unfolds to reveal blackcurrant and mulberry, complemented by red cherry notes. As it opens, subtle pepper spice emerges, characteristic of fine Pinot Noir.
On the eye
Brilliant ruby with good depth of colour
Breeding
Extended ageing in oak barrels and large wooden vats
This is a wine of considerable versatility at table. Roasted poultry—whether simply prepared or in classical sauces—represents an ideal pairing. It will also complement game birds, lighter meat dishes, and well-made charcuterie. Serve at 14–15°C to appreciate its complexity fully.

Les Vignerons de Buxy is a cooperative winery in Buxy, Côte Chalonnaise (Burgundy). Founded in 1931. Around 120 growers and 870 hectares. Grapes: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Appellations: Montagny, Givry, Mercurey, Rully, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise, Crémant de Bourgogne. Good-value Burgundy terroir wines.
