On the nose
Expressive bouquet dominated by white stone fruits, hawthorn blossom and citrus notes, with a subtle herbaceous undertone characteristic of the southern Vaucluse terroir
In the mouth
Fresh and well-balanced on the palate, revealing flavours of white-fleshed stone fruits, citrus and white flowers. The texture is rounded with subtle mineral notes, finishing with pleasing vivacity and length
M. Francois
An elegant and refreshing white that marries complexity with finesse. The fruited aromatics, roundness and mineral character make it ideal for lighter fare, seafood dishes and summer salads. The Pigeoulet exemplifies Famille Brunier's mastery and the richness of Rhône varietals, offering a refined alternative to the region's weightier whites.

FAMILLE BRUNIER

On the Crau plateau at Bédarrides, Famille Brunier farm 70 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape across galets roulés and red clay soils, currently in organic conversion. Founded in 1891 by Henri Brunier, the estate is now in the hands of its sixth generation — Nicolas, Édouard and Manon — who joined between 2015 and 2018, bringing fresh rigour to a house already defined by its command of Grenache Noir and deep-rooted sense of terroir. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the consistency of its age-worthy reds and the character of its whites — both faithful expressions of one of the Rhône Valley's most clearly defined terroirs. A dependable reference for anyone seeking Châteauneuf-du-Pape at its most complete.
