The authentic voice of Chardonnay through mature vines
The old vines of Domaine Pierre Labet capture the essence of Burgundy's terroir, yielding wines of considerable concentration and layered complexity that reward patient appreciation.
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this Bourgogne reflects the domaine's commitment to traditional viticulture and the distinctive character of its vineyard site.
Oak ageing in French barrels adds subtle depth, introducing refined notes of toast and vanilla that complement rather than dominate the wine's natural expression.

Product features : Domaine Pierre Labet Bourgogne Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes 2022 — Burgundy
In the mouth
A structured palate with ripe fruit character, a whisper of hazelnut, and an elegant oak-inflected finish that lingers with restraint
On the nose
Inviting aromas of white stone fruit and citrus, with delicate floral notes and a mineral undertone that speaks to the vineyard's geology
On the eye
Bright golden-yellow, reflecting the maturity and ripeness of the fruit at harvest
Breeding
Aged in oak barrels to enhance its aromatic complexity and structure
This Chardonnay demonstrates the classical Burgundian virtues: richness tempered by precision, oak integration that enhances rather than masks. A considered choice for those who value traditional winemaking and the quiet authority of mature vines. It represents the domaine's philosophy: finesse over extraction, terroir expression over technique.
Nicolas françois, propriétaire passionné des halles de quercamps
Domaine Pierre Labet is a wine estate in Beaune (Côte de Beaune, Burgundy). Founded by Pierre Labet, linked to the family of Château de la Tour (Clos de Vougeot). Grapes: Pinot Noir (reds) and Chardonnay (whites). Appellations: Beaune, Beaune Premier Cru, Meursault, Gevrey-Chambertin. Organically farmed. Parcel-by-parcel vinification, oak-barrel ageing.
