The authentic expression of Burgundy's finest terroir

  • Crafted by vignerons Isabelle and Denis Pommier, this Pinot Noir captures the refined elegance characteristic of Burgundy's limestone-rich soils. Their meticulous viticulture and organic practices yield a wine of genuine complexity and restraint.
  • A wine of admirable balance, where ripe fruit, subtle oak influence, and fine-grained tannins exist in harmonious proportion—neither heavy nor austere, but poised and complete.
  • Careful vinification and oak élevage lend this wine a delicate structure and layered aromatics. The oak is restrained, serving merely to frame rather than dominate the wine's natural character.

Product features : Domaine Pommier Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2022 — Burgundy

In the mouth
Silken palate with fine, well-integrated tannins. Flavours of dark cherry and red raspberry persist through to an elegantly spiced finish. The wine shows good length and a satisfying mineral undertone.
On the nose
An expressive bouquet of ripe cherries and raspberries, with subtle spice notes and a whisper of forest floor—classic Burgundian Pinot Noir character.
On the eye
Deep ruby robe, suggesting concentrated fruit and good ageing potential.
M. Francois
A versatile food wine of considerable merit. Pair with roasted beef, duck confit, or a selection of cured charcuterie. The wine's acidity and tannin structure make it equally suited to lighter preparations—think coq au vin or mushroom-based dishes. Drink now or cellar for five to eight years.
