Product features : Domaine Marc Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru les Champs Gains 2022

Breeding
12 to 14 months in oak barrels, partly new wood, to impart structure and finesse
On the eye
Golden hue with brilliant, crystalline clarity. Luminous and well-defined in the glass.
On the nose
A refined bouquet combining floral notes—acacia and hawthorn—with ripe stone fruits. Fresh butter and subtle mineral notes complete the aromatic profile, suggesting both immediate appeal and ageing potential.
In the mouth
Ample yet elegant, with a fine mineral tension running through the palate. White peach and citrus flavours are balanced by hazelnut undertones and a crisp acidity. The finish is clean and persistent.
M. Francois
A refined and well-proportioned white Burgundy that exemplifies the character of Chassagne-Montrachet. The mineral backbone, combined with the natural roundness of mature Chardonnay, creates a wine of considerable nobility. Excellent with noble fish and shellfish; it will also develop complexity over several years in the cellar. A distinguished choice for special occasions.
