This wine demonstrates the character and quality one expects from a well-made Lirac. It would serve admirably with rabbit prepared à la chasseur, or indeed with any number of traditional French country dishes. A wine of genuine merit that rewards careful selection.

Les Vignerons de Tavel & Lirac is a cooperative winery in the southern Rhône Valley. Appellations: Tavel (rosé only), Lirac (red, rosé, white) and Côtes du Rhône. Grapes: Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Clairette. Tavel is the only Rhône appellation exclusively dedicated to rosé. Terroir wines, generous and aromatic. Available at Les Halles de Quercamps.
