Breeding
Aged approximately 16 months in barrels of one to three years old.
On the eye
Brilliant, deep ruby colour with excellent clarity and depth.
On the nose
The bouquet is powerful and layered: ripe black berries dominate, with secondary notes of graphite and dried herbs emerging as the wine opens. A wine of considerable aromatic complexity.
In the mouth
Suave and substantial on the palate, with fine-grained tannins and excellent length. The wine displays both richness and restraint—a hallmark of serious Burgundy—with a finish that lingers with dark fruit and mineral notes.
