In the mouth
The palate delivers liquorice and spice with fresh, well-integrated tannins. The wine maintains good balance throughout, with a structure that suggests modest cellaring potential.
On the nose
The bouquet unfolds with floral character and subtle menthol notes, inviting further exploration of this well-composed wine.
On the eye
Deep ruby robe with an appealing dark intensity
Breeding
Aged in oak barrels and demi-muids for 12 months then in concrete vats for 6 months.
M. Francois
Cœur de Terroirs pairs admirably with charcuterie and cured meats, whilst its structure suits red meat preparations well. It is equally at home with poultry dishes, particularly those featuring mushroom accompaniments, where its spice notes find natural harmony.
