DOMAINE SEROL
Perched on south-south-east facing slopes above Renaison at 400 to 550 metres, Domaine Serol farms 38 hectares of granite and sandy soils in the Côte Roannaise appellation. A family property traceable to the seventeenth century and now in its fifth generation, the estate was taken on by Stéphane and Carine Sérol in 1996, who converted the vineyards to organic and biodynamic farming and brought the Gamay Saint-Romain — the appellation's emblematic grape — to a remarkable level of precision. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the rigour of its agronomic approach, the character of its granite terroirs, and the confident personality of its reds, whites, and rosés. A quietly authoritative address in the Loire.
