The bouquet reveals intense aromas of fresh red berries—cherry and raspberry—with violet and a whisper of white pepper. The nose is clean and inviting, without heaviness.
In the mouth
On the palate, the wine displays admirable freshness. Red cherry and raspberry notes develop with good definition, whilst a light peppery spice emerges on the finish. The structure is elegant, the acidity refreshing.

DOMAINE SEROL
Perched on south-south-east facing slopes above Renaison at 400 to 550 metres, Domaine Serol farms 38 hectares of granite and sandy soils in the Côte Roannaise appellation. A family property traceable to the seventeenth century and now in its fifth generation, the estate was taken on by Stéphane and Carine Sérol in 1996, who converted the vineyards to organic and biodynamic farming and brought the Gamay Saint-Romain — the appellation's emblematic grape — to a remarkable level of precision. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the rigour of its agronomic approach, the character of its granite terroirs, and the confident personality of its reds, whites, and rosés.
