Three generations custodians of this magnificent terroir
- The Lieu-Dit La Viallière is a beautifully exposed south-facing slope planted with Syrah selected from the vineyard's own heritage vines. This site has long been recognised for its capacity to produce wines of uncommon refinement.
- A Côte-Rôtie distinguished by its elegance and restraint rather than power. The wine shows the finesse characteristic of the finest expressions from this northern Rhône appellation.
- This is a wine built for the cellar. Its fine tannin structure and balanced acidity suggest it will develop gracefully over the coming decade, rewarding patience with additional complexity.

In the mouth
Elegant and subtle on the palate. A fine attack leads to silky tannins that carry the wine through to a remarkably long, balanced finish. The overall impression is one of lightness and finesse rather than extraction.
On the nose
Delicate and refined, with red fruit notes complemented by subtle spice. The bouquet unfolds gradually, revealing layers of pepper and liquorice.
On the eye
Brilliant garnet with a luminous core.
Breeding
18 months in oak barrels
Pairs beautifully with beef paleron, duck, and veal. Its structure and acidity make it equally suited to game birds or, for the adventurous, venison. The wine's restraint and balance recommend it as an excellent food companion across a range of autumn and winter dishes.
