Deep ruby with subtle garnet reflections
On the nose
Black fruits predominate—cassis and blackberry—with intriguing undertones of leather and earthy minerality that speak to the terroir of these hillside vineyards.
In the mouth
Rounded and generous on the attack, with a cascade of dark fruit flavours that build towards a satisfying finish. The tannins are supple yet present, providing structure without harshness.
A natural pairing with beef shoulder braised with seasonal vegetables. The wine's acidity and tannin structure complement the richness of the meat whilst the fruit character harmonises with caramelised root vegetables. Equally rewarding with aged Comté or a well-hung game bird.
