Product features : "l'Esprit de Chevalier" 2023 Pessac-Leognan — Organic

Breeding
Aged in oak barrels, one-third new oak, for 14 months.
On the eye
Deep purple with violet reflections, suggesting structure and maturity potential.
On the nose
Distinctive graphite and smoke notes, characteristic of the gravelly soils of Pessac-Léognan. The aromatics are restrained and precise, revealing dark fruit beneath the mineral expression.
In the mouth
Long and elegant, with a palate of pure black fruit and persistent smoky minerality. The finish is clean and refined, demonstrating the wine's balance and breeding.
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with roasted beef, particularly fillet. It complements aged cheeses such as Camembert, and works exceptionally well with duck preparations—magret de canard or confit. The wine's mineral character also suits lighter game dishes and herb-dressed vegetables.
