Product features : "La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion" 2023 Pessac-Leognan

Breeding
Oak barrel ageing of 18 to 22 months in 20 to 25 per cent new wood
On the eye
Ruby with violet tones, developing brick-red hues as it matures in glass.
On the nose
The bouquet unfolds with red and dark fruits—redcurrant and blackberry—complemented by subtle smoked and toasted notes that speak to careful oak handling.
In the mouth
A wine of balance: structured tannins frame ripe, mature fruit character. The mid-palate offers both weight and elegance, with a finish of genuine length.
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with roasted lamb, particularly a carré d'agneau. The wine's structure and subtle oak complement the meat's richness without overwhelming its flavour. Also excellent with game birds and aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–17°C; decant 30 minutes before service for optimal expression.
