Cassis and violet aromas emerge with aeration, revealing the wine's Beaujolais character. The bouquet is restrained but expressive, inviting closer attention.
In the mouth
A discreet attack gives way to dense, mineral fruit. The palate shows considerable complexity for a Fleurie, with fine tannins and a persistent finish that speaks to the age of the vines.
This wine pairs beautifully with dishes in rich sauces—coq au vin, beef bourguignon, or game preparations. Its mineral backbone and moderate alcohol make it equally suited to lighter fare such as roasted poultry or mushroom-based dishes. Drink now through 2027.
