In the mouth
Supple and generous on the palate, with fine, silky tannins. Intense flavours of red fruits—raspberry and cherry—are accompanied by subtle spice and floral notes. The wine is round and well-balanced, finishing with welcome freshness.
On the nose
Inviting aromas of red and dark berries—raspberry, blackcurrant—interwoven with floral notes reminiscent of peony. Mineral undertones from the granitic terroir add complexity and definition.
On the eye
Deep ruby robe with purple highlights, brilliant and luminous
Breeding
The wine is aged 6 to 8 months in old oak foudres.
This Brouilly Pierreux will shine alongside blanquette de veau, Spanish tapas, or a classic Bresse chicken with dauphinoise potatoes. Its structure and elegance make it equally at home with lighter game dishes or mature cheeses.

Domaines Chermette is a family wine estate in Saint-Vérand (Rhône), Beaujolais. Run by the Chermette family. Grape: Gamay. Appellations: Moulin-à-Vent, Fleurie, Beaujolais-Villages, Saint-Véran. Around 25 hectares farmed sustainably. Traditional whole-bunch vinification with semi-carbonic maceration. Fruity, terroir-driven wines.
