A wine of considerable merit alongside dishes of character. The structure and balance make it equally suited to game, beef preparations, or mature cheeses. Best enjoyed at 16–17°C, allowing its complexity to develop fully. Decanting 30 minutes before service is recommended.

Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret is a family wine estate in Vosne-Romanée, Côte de Nuits (Burgundy). Around 33 hectares of vines. Grapes: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Grand crus: Richebourg, Échezeaux, Grands Échezeaux, Clos de Vougeot. Extensive premier cru holdings: Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vougeot, Savigny-lès-Beaune. One of Burgundy's most richly endowed grand cru estates.
