Grenache 66%, Syrah 34%

A domain of considerable standing in the Languedoc

  • Grenache provides the backbone here, delivering characteristic notes of dark berries, white pepper and warm spice. The fruit expression is generous yet restrained, with a savoury undertone that speaks to the terroir.
  • This wine rewards patience. Lay down a few bottles in your cellar for three to five years and you will find the tannins soften and the flavours deepen into something altogether more complex and rewarding.
  • The vineyard name, Chemin de Moscou, takes its title from the parcels themselves and an old tree that once stood sentinel over the landscape—a landmark long since gone, but remembered in the wine.

Product features : Domaine Gayda - Chemin de Moscou Reflet 2021 — IGP Pays d'Oc — Organic

In the mouth
A welcoming palate of wild berries and forest fruits, open and inviting. The spice framework integrates seamlessly with subtle mineral notes, leading to a finish of good length and composure.
On the nose
An expressive bouquet of dark forest fruits, white pepper, cinnamon and warming spices, with a floral note of violets emerging on the second nose.
On the eye
A deep violet-tinged robe, nearly opaque at the core, suggesting good concentration.
M. Francois
A wine of versatility. It pairs admirably with game birds, roasted poultry, and harder cheeses—particularly those with some age and character. The acidity and tannin structure make it equally at home with herb-crusted lamb or a well-made terrine. Serve slightly below room temperature to best appreciate its aromatic complexity.
