In the mouth
Ample and powerful on the palate, revealing gourmand fruit character balanced by well-integrated tannins. The mid-palate shows good concentration, whilst the finish is clean and persistent.
On the nose
The bouquet opens with notes of dark cherry liqueur, blackberry and black fruit preserve, complemented by subtle chocolate and mineral undertones. Complex and inviting, it develops further with aeration.
On the eye
Deep ruby red with violet reflections. A wine of good colour intensity and clarity.
Breeding
Upon arrival at the winery, each varietal is sorted, destemmed and fermented separately.
A versatile companion to the table. Its structure and fruit weight suit grilled red meats and game excellently, whilst the aromatic profile and moderate alcohol make it equally at home with spiced dishes and Mediterranean cuisine. Approachable now, with cellaring potential.
