Product features : Domaine de Beaurenard Châteauneuf-du-Pape Gran Partita 2016

In the mouth
Concentrated yet approachable. Red and dark berries, myrtille and bramble, meld with liquorice, garrigue and white pepper spice. A wine of real distinction and breeding, with fine tannins and considerable elegance.
On the nose
Complex and richly layered. Dark forest fruits—blackcurrant, bilberry, blackberry—are complemented by liquorice and subtle garrigue notes that add aromatic depth.
On the eye
Deep ruby with violet reflections; a wine of considerable colour and presence.
M. Francois
Pair with game dishes of substance: civet of venison, thick-cut venison steaks with grand veneur sauce, or jugged hare with truffles. The wine's structure and spice complement rich, savoury preparations admirably. Decant thirty minutes before service.
