Breeding
Vinification begins in stainless steel vats, followed by ageing in oak barrels and large wooden vessels.
On the eye
Pale golden hue, bright and clear.
On the nose
The bouquet is distinctly fruited, with grapefruit, lemon and citrus to the fore. Delicate floral notes of honeysuckle and hawthorn emerge with aeration.
In the mouth
A lively, direct attack leads to a palate of good definition. The finish carries a subtle anise character, characteristic of well-made Chardonnay from this appellation.
An excellent aperitif wine that transitions gracefully to the table. Pair with fish tart, seafood gratin, or grilled and marinated vegetables. Also complements snails, white meats, and goat's cheese. The wine's freshness and mineral backbone make it a natural choice for lighter spring and summer fare.

Les Vignerons de Buxy is a cooperative winery in Buxy, Côte Chalonnaise (Burgundy). Founded in 1931. Around 120 growers and 870 hectares. Grapes: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Appellations: Montagny, Givry, Mercurey, Rully, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise, Crémant de Bourgogne. Good-value Burgundy terroir wines.
