In the mouth
Silky tannins of exceptional fineness characterise the palate. The wine shows good structure without heaviness, with a clean, persistent finish that speaks to careful winemaking.
On the nose
Delicate and aromatic, with notes of red fruits—cherry and raspberry—complemented by subtle floral hints and a whisper of white pepper. The bouquet is refined rather than assertive.
On the eye
Clear ruby robe with bright, luminous character.
Breeding
Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Ageing on fine lees for 6 months.
M. Francois
A versatile table wine suited to charcuterie and cured meats, beef preparations, and duck dishes. Serve at 14–15°C. Approachable now, though the 2022 will develop gracefully over five to seven years in a cool cellar.
