  • Domaine Bertrand Bachelet represents the fourth generation of a Burgundian winemaking family, rooted in the region's traditions and committed to expressing the true character of Chassagne Montrachet's terroir through careful, thoughtful viticulture.

In the mouth
On the palate, peppery and spiced notes come to the fore, balanced by supple tannins and good acidity. The wine has presence without heaviness, with a finish that lingers pleasantly and invites another sip.
On the nose
The bouquet reveals a refined interplay of red fruits—cherry and plum—interwoven with subtle spice notes and a whisper of earth. The aromatics are elegant rather than showy, speaking to careful winemaking.
On the eye
A ruby robe with garnet reflections, clear and inviting.
Breeding
Wooden élevage lasting approximately twelve months (around 30% new oak), followed by three to six months in stainless steel vats before bottling.
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with red meat—a roasted beef joint, duck, or venison would all find their match here. It is equally suited to charcuterie, aged cheeses, and mushroom-based dishes. Serve at 16–17°C, and consider decanting for twenty minutes if opening now, though the wine will develop further over the next five to seven years.
