Breeding
Made exclusively in stainless steel vats for 6 to 7 months
On the eye
Bright, limpid ruby with vivid red highlights. The colour speaks of youth and vitality.
On the nose
An inviting bouquet of red and dark fruits—cherry, plum—with subtle floral notes. The aromatics are clean and well-defined, reflecting the purity of the Gamay variety and the freshness of the vintage.
In the mouth
Fresh and balanced on the palate, with fine tannin structure and a natural acidity that carries the fruit through to a clean, lingering finish. The wine shows excellent definition.
M. Francois
A classical Beaujolais-Village of substance and character. The wine's freshness and fruit-forward profile make it an ideal companion to game dishes—a terrine of pheasant, for instance—or equally at home as an aperitif wine. Drink now through 2026.

DOMAINE JEAN-MARC BURGAUD

Based in Villié-Morgon, Domaine Jean-Marc Burgaud farms 19 hectares across the celebrated slopes of the Côte du Py, at the heart of the Morgon appellation. Founded in 1989, the estate gained its true character in 1992 when Jean-Marc — trained in Burgundy and steeped in a vigneron family — took over his father-in-law's vines on these iron- and manganese-rich schists. That Burgundian formation shows: he reads his parcels with the rigour of a climat, coaxing both power and finesse from Gamay Noir on some of Beaujolais's most distinctive terroir. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the precision of its vineyard work, the typicity of its Morgon, and a consistency of style that places it firmly among the serious addresses of the appellation. A benchmark for the cellar.
