In the mouth
A perfectly balanced palate with fresh acidity and fine tannin structure. The wine shows good length and a composed finish that suggests rewarding cellaring potential.
On the nose
Aromas of dark fruits and warm spice evolve towards dried herbs and mineral notes, revealing the wine's complexity and terroir character.
On the eye
Deep, intense ruby with a luminous core.
Breeding
Aged 18 months in 60% new oak barrels.
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with beef dishes—a grilled fillet would be ideal—and complements aged cheeses and charcuterie. The structure and balance also suit duck preparations, particularly confit or magret. Best appreciated after a few years of cellaring to allow the wine to fully express itself.
