The second wine of Château Nénin

  • Crafted with the expertise of the Delon family's portfolio—Château Léoville Las Cases, Clos du Marquis, and Potensac—this wine reflects decades of rigorous viticulture and winemaking discipline across Bordeaux's finest terroirs.
  • A natural companion to grilled red meats and aged cheeses, with sufficient structure and elegance to enhance rather than overpower the table. Equally rewarding as an aperitif wine for those who appreciate restraint.
  • Sourced directly from the château and offered through Les Halles de Quercamps, this wine represents genuine value for the serious collector seeking authentic Pomerol without unnecessary intermediaries.

Product features : Fugue de Nenin 2022 — Pomerol

In the mouth
Refined entry with pleasing freshness. The palate shows savoury dark fruit, a whisper of rose petal, and a peppery spice that carries through to a clean, lingering finish with fine-grained tannins.
On the nose
Inviting bouquet of dark berries—blackcurrant and plum—interwoven with delicate floral notes. The aromatics develop with aeration, revealing subtle mineral undertones characteristic of Pomerol's clay-rich soils.
On the eye
Deep ruby with purple-tinged rim; a wine of modest but confident appearance.
M. Francois
This is a wine of genuine breeding. Serve it alongside grilled beef or lamb, or pair with mature Comté or Époisses. The 2022 vintage captures the vintage's freshness whilst respecting the house style. Decant thirty minutes before service. Drinking beautifully now; will develop further over the next five to seven years.
