- Lynch-Bages has long been recognised for producing wines of considerable structure and backbone. The 2022 vintage demonstrates this house style: a wine built to develop gracefully over time, with the framework to reward patience.
- The Cabernet Sauvignon finds eloquent expression here, delivering the variety's characteristic blackcurrant and tobacco notes within a framework of fine tannins. A classical Pauillac of genuine pedigree.

Breeding
Twelve to fifteen months in barrels, of which 50% to 80% are new, depending on the vintage
On the eye
Brilliant garnet, with excellent clarity and depth of colour.
On the nose
Blackcurrant and dark berries dominate, with secondary notes of liquorice and tobacco leaf. The bouquet is composed and inviting, revealing further complexity as the wine opens.
In the mouth
Rich and fruit-forward on the palate, with ripe dark fruits and a subtle spice character. The structure is evident but refined, with fine-grained tannins that promise considerable development in bottle.
A wine of considerable merit with game birds, particularly pigeon with spring peas. The wine's structure and dark fruit character complement the delicate gaminess admirably. Also rewarding with beef preparations and mature cheeses. Drinking well now, but will develop further over the next decade.
