CHATEAU LEOVILLE POYFERRE
Château Leoville Poyferre spans 80 hectares at the heart of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, classified 2nd Grand Cru in the 1855 Bordeaux classification. Born from the division of the Léoville estate in 1840, the château has been in the hands of the Cuvelier family since 1920. Under Didier Cuvelier from 1979, the vineyard was extended from 48 to 80 hectares, building a style rooted in the depth of Mindel-era gravels and a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of its vintages, the precision of its élevage and its well-earned standing in the Bordeaux hierarchy. A reliable reference for lovers of classic Saint-Julien.
