CHATEAU LA TOUR DE BESSAN
Spread across the communes of Soussans, Arsac and Margaux-Cantenac, Château la Tour de Bessan covers 31 hectares of Pyrenean gravel soils at the heart of the Margaux appellation. Founded in 1972 by Lucien Lurton on the ruins of a 13th-century medieval tower, the château was taken over in 1992 by his daughter Marie-Laure, an oenologist, who secured Cru Bourgeois recognition and steered the estate towards responsible viticulture certified HVE and Terra Vitis. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour Marie-Laure Lurton brings to every vintage, the typicity of its Bordeaux gravel terroir, and yields held to 33 hl/ha — a discipline that delivers concentrated, terroir-faithful red wines.
