On the eye
Deep, intense garnet, almost black in youth, developing clarity with time.
On the nose
Blackcurrant and blackberry lead, with subtle spice and light oak—liquorice and vanilla notes. With age, cedar, tobacco and graphite emerge, hallmarks of the gravelly terroir.
In the mouth
Generous and well-balanced, with present but silky tannins. The interplay between Cabernet structure and Merlot suppleness creates a wine that is both serious in build and remarkably charming in expression.
Château Sénéjac represents serious Haut-Médoc winemaking at its best. Under the technical direction of the Talbot team, the wine has gained precision and elegance.
