In the mouth
Crunchy dark fruits with fine-grained tannins and a refreshing mineral finish. The wine shows good structure without heaviness, with a persistent aftertaste of black cherry and slate.
On the nose
Ripe black plums and blackcurrant with hints of graphite and dried herbs. The bouquet develops with air, revealing subtle spice notes characteristic of the appellation.
On the eye
Deep garnet with subtle brick tones at the rim
An accomplished expression of Listrac terroir. The wine's natural acidity and moderate alcohol make it an excellent companion to roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses. Approachable now, yet with sufficient structure to develop gracefully over the next five to eight years.
