Expressive and inviting, with pronounced red fruit aromas—cherry and redcurrant predominate, complemented by subtle mineral notes characteristic of the Loire.
In the mouth
Fine, precisely defined tannins with an elegant, almost delicate texture. No heaviness here; the winemaker seeks refinement and detail. The finish is long, saline and mouth-watering, driven by excellent acidity that extends the fresh fruit character.
The Haut de la Butte represents the most ethereal expression in the Domaine's range. It will perform admirably with grilled or roasted meats, and pairs equally well with mature cheeses. This is a wine for those who appreciate subtlety over power.

DOMAINE DE LA BUTTE - JACKY BLOT
Domaine de la Butte is a wine estate in the Bourgueil appellation (Loire Valley), created in 2002 by Jacky Blot (also owner of Taille aux Loups in Montlouis). Grape: Cabernet Franc. Around 14 hectares on tuffeau, gravel and clay soils. Single-vineyard cuvées: Mi-Pente, Perrières, Haut de la Butte. Wines of great precision and fine depth.
