Grenache

The younger sibling of Château Pesquié—with character to spare

  • A wine of southern sunshine that marries generous fruit with admirable balance and a supple, rounded palate. The Grenache grape finds its natural expression here, delivering both richness and restraint in equal measure.
  • On the nose, there is an evocative warmth—the scent of strawberry preserve as it simmers, mingled with ripe cherry and subtle spice. A wine that speaks of the Mediterranean sun.
  • This is a wine for shared moments and family gatherings. It recalls those unhurried afternoons and convivial suppers where good wine and good company are all that matters.

Breeding
In stainless steel to preserve freshness
On the eye
Deep ruby with a warm, inviting hue
On the nose
Cherry and blackcurrant with gentle spice notes. There is an appealing warmth to the bouquet—the character of ripe fruit in a sun-warmed landscape.
In the mouth
Rounded and supple, with a refreshing acidity that prevents heaviness. The palate is generous without being overwrought, with a natural elegance that speaks to the wine's terroir.
M. Francois
A natural companion to grilled meats—both red and white—or to rustic fare such as lasagne. The wine's balance makes it equally at home with Mediterranean vegetables, herb-dressed chicken, or simply as an aperitif wine on a warm evening.
