Breeding
Ageing takes place entirely in stainless steel to preserve the wine's freshness and fruitiness (approximately 10 months)
On the eye
Brilliant pale yellow
On the nose
A refined bouquet with pronounced white fruit character—white peach and pear—complemented by citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit. The aromatics are clean and inviting, with a subtle mineral undertone.
In the mouth
The palate is supple and refreshing, with a lively acidity that carries the fruit through to a clean finish. The wine surprises with its freshness and elegance, offering more complexity than the appellation might suggest.
M. Francois
A versatile wine suited to aperitif service or as an accompaniment to fish and shellfish dishes. The mineral backbone and acidity make it particularly rewarding with oysters, grilled white fish, or lighter seafood preparations. Also pleasant as a standalone glass wine for those seeking something with genuine character rather than mere refreshment.

DOMAINE GUEGUEN

Based in Préhy in the Yonne, Domaine Gueguen farms 25 hectares across 35 parcels in Chablis, Chichée, Saint-Bris and Irancy, on the Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils that define the appellation. Founded in 2013 by Céline Brocard — daughter of Jean-Marc Brocard — and her husband Frédéric, following thirteen years at Domaine Brocard, the estate brings genuine pedigree to its organic conversion, with yields held to around 40 hl/ha. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the precision and mineral clarity of its Chablis, the faithful expression of Kimmeridgian terroir, and the rigour of a domaine in purposeful transition towards certified organic viticulture. A reliable reference for lovers of serious white Burgundy.
