Deep purple-garnet robe with brilliant clarity
On the nose
Ripe stone fruits and dark berries dominate, with secondary notes of caramel and liquorice that emerge with aeration. The aromatic profile is both generous and restrained.
In the mouth
The palate reveals admirable suppleness and structure in equal measure. The wine's richness is balanced by fine tannins and good acidity, delivering excellent length and a lingering finish.
A wine of considerable merit that demonstrates the terroir of Lirac with clarity and conviction. It will prove particularly rewarding with game preparations—a rabbit chasseur would be an ideal pairing—and will develop gracefully over the next five to seven years. The balance between fruit, structure and elegance marks this as a wine of genuine substance.

Les Vignerons de Tavel & Lirac is a cooperative winery in the southern Rhône Valley. Appellations: Tavel (rosé only), Lirac (red, rosé, white) and Côtes du Rhône. Grapes: Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Clairette. Tavel is the only Rhône appellation exclusively dedicated to rosé. Terroir wines, generous and aromatic. Available at Les Halles de Quercamps.
