Breeding
12 to 14 months in oak barrels, with 20 to 30% new oak
On the eye
Golden-hued Chardonnay with pale, luminous tones characteristic of the appellation.
On the nose
Delicate floral character with aromas of mint and linden blossom, complemented by fresh almond and hazelnut. The bouquet unfolds gradually, revealing subtle mineral notes.
In the mouth
Well-balanced between acidity and structure, with a clean, refreshing palate. The wine drinks with natural elegance and finishes with a whisper of stone fruit and hazelnut.
Pairs naturally with shellfish, white fish, and poultry. Also excellent with pressed-curd cheeses such as Comté or Beaufort. The wine's acidity makes it particularly suitable for lighter seafood preparations and delicate cream sauces.

Domaine François Raquillet is a family wine estate in Mercurey (Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy). Grapes: Pinot Noir (reds) and Chardonnay (whites). Appellations: Mercurey, Mercurey Premier Cru. Around 10 hectares of vines. Traditional Burgundian vinification. The wines express the typicity of the Mercurey terroir with fine structure and expressive fruit.
