- Domaine Guigal was established in 1946 by Étienne Guigal in Ampuis, the ancient village and historic heart of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. The house remains devoted to the distinctive character of this Northern Rhône region.
- The 2019 vintage reflects a warm growing season, producing a wine of considerable structure and tannin. Extended oak ageing has refined these powerful tannins, lending complexity and depth to the final expression.

In the mouth
Powerful and concentrated, with well-defined tannins and a structured palate. Flavours of prune, blackberry and vanilla develop, supported by the wine's natural acidity and length. A wine of considerable breeding.
On the nose
A dense and expressive bouquet of black fruits, spice and subtle oak-derived aromas. The nose is intense and layered, revealing notes of dark berries and mineral undertones.
