Chardonnay

A family estate of distinction since 1912

  • This Chardonnay-based cuvée benefits from careful oak élevage that imparts subtle complexity without overwhelming the wine's natural elegance. The woodwork is restrained, allowing the fruit to remain foremost.
  • Produced in limited quantities, this Tête de Cuvée represents the finest selection from Domaine Tariquet's vineyard. A wine of genuine individuality rather than volume.
  • Particularly suited to Mediterranean cuisine: white fish, roasted poultry, and lighter meat dishes. Also pairs beautifully with aged cheeses and seafood preparations.

Product features : Domaine Tariquet Tête de Cuvée 2020 — IGP Côtes de Gascogne

In the mouth
The palate reveals the benefits of its élevage: a marked yet harmonious oak presence that frames rather than dominates. Pineapple and citrus fruit persist through to a long, fresh finish of considerable finesse.
On the nose
Intense and refined bouquet. Vanilla and coconut notes mingle with stone fruit—pineapple and citrus—creating an aromatic profile of considerable elegance and depth.
On the eye
Golden robe with brilliant green-tinged reflections; clear and luminous.
Breeding
Aged 8 months in new oak barrels
M. Francois
An accomplished white wine of real character. Serve with white fish, roasted chicken, or lighter meat dishes. The oak integration makes it equally at home with aged hard cheeses. Best enjoyed at 10–12°C within three to four years of vintage.
