Elegance and complexity in a great white Châteauneuf-du-Pape

  • This wine offers a refined gustatory experience marked by finesse and elegance. The 2021 vintage demonstrates the house's commitment to quality winemaking that respects both the vineyard and the natural rhythms of the growing season.
  • The 2021 vintage presented considerable challenges: an April frost threatened the crop, whilst harvest rains interrupted picking. These climatic pressures required careful selection and precise winemaking to preserve the wine's character and purity.
  • Famille Perrin's philosophy centres on producing wines of genuine quality in harmony with nature. This approach is evident in every aspect of the winemaking, from vineyard management through to élevage and final assemblage.

White stone fruits and honey dominate the palate, with fennel adding complexity. A beautifully defined, slightly saline finish provides excellent structure and considerable character, inviting further contemplation.
On the nose
A delicate aromatic bouquet revealing notes of linden blossom, apricot and almond, with subtle mineral undertones characteristic of the terroir
On the eye
Elegant golden robe with brilliant, slightly greenish reflections
Breeding
Ageing in oak barrels is used sparingly to preserve the freshness of the aromas
M. Francois
Serve at 10°C in tulip-shaped tasting glasses. This wine pairs excellently with poultry, cream-based dishes, and lighter fish preparations. Its mineral precision and aromatic refinement make it particularly suited to spring and early summer dining.
